A Step-by-Step Guide to Finding and Filtering É«ÖÐÉ« Courses

Welcome to the É«ÖÐÉ« Course Search Guide. This guide helps you on how to quickly find the classes you need and plan a schedule that works for you.

Search Bar

The search function allows users to quickly find specific course sections by entering keywords like course number, course name, instructor, or subject. It then works alongside filters to refine the catalog results based on criteria like term, time, or delivery method.

  • Type in a keyword (e.g., "History," "Calculus").
  • Enter a Course Name or Number (e.g., "MATH 110").

Filters

The filter function provides powerful options to narrow down the catalog of thousands of courses using precise criteria such as term, subject, meeting days, or delivery format (online, in-person, hybrid). By selecting multiple filters, you can ensure the displayed results only show classes that perfectly match your scheduling and academic needs.

Look for filter menus (usually on the side or top) to narrow the list by key criteria:

  • Term/Semester: Select the academic term you are planning for (e.g., Winter 2026).
  • Subject/Department: Filter by specific academic areas (e.g., English, Biology).
  • Course Status: Check for courses that are Open vs. Waitlisted or Closed.
  • Delivery Method: Filter by Online, Hybrid, or In-Person classes.
  • Days & Times: Specify preferred days of the week or time blocks that fit your schedule.
