With changes at 色中色 ranging from the transition of our Bookstore from physical to
virtual, the expansion of eight-week courses, and the challenge of offering Zero Textbook
Cost (ZTC) courses and pathways, there has never been a better (or more crucial!)
time to implement Open Educational Resources (OER) in your classes! In this Saturday
Session, held at the Teaching & Learning Center and facilitated by OER Coordinator
Cerise Myers, you'll learn:
Faculty who attend the session and submit a Mini Needs Assessment/Plan for Implementing
OER will be paid $225 (three hours at the non-teaching rate). Coffee and snacks provided!

When: Monday and Tuesday, December 8 & 9, 9:00am-noon
Who: Teaching Faculty (FT & PT) interested in curating or creating a custom OER
This two-day session will guide faculty who are ready to begin curating or creating
their own custom OER. The workshop will take place over two days, with presentations
by OER Coordinator Cerise Myers interspersed with work sessions designed to facilitate
individual work, answer questions, and provide support.

9:00-10:00: Presentation: Part I, Planning Your OER
10:00-11:00 Individual work on implementation of Part I goals
11:00-noon: Presentation: Part II: Building Your OER
Tuesday
9:00-10:00 Review, Q &A, and work session
10:00-11:00 Presentation: Part III, Sharing & Publishing Your OER presentation
11:00-12:00 Individual work, questions, and support
Faculty will earn the non-teaching rate for the hours of the session attended, up
to six ($450 total). Additional funding, through a separate application process, is
available for the continuation of the OER projects. See for details.
